Drive Home Fresh - Stay Sunday Driver fatigue is a significant issue on our roads and following endurance races they are even more so. A couple of guys who raced the Mont in 2009 were very lucky to walk away from this accident after straying from the road on their way home and rolling their vehicle 3 times. They took out 3 trees in the process, destroyed their car and their gear and bikes were strewn far and wide (below). We are happy to say they are coming back to Ride the Bird in 2010 - and this time they plan to stay an extra night. Stuff can be replaced... people cannot. |
