Teams Categories - Age Group Teams

You can enter the Mont 24 Hour Mountain Bike Race in one of the following categories

Teams of 4
Foursomes (Open - Male, Female or Mixed*)
Roaring 40s (Your entire team must average 40 years or older Male or Mixed*)
Singles Club (Single Speed Male or Mixed)

Teams of 6
Six Packs (Open - Male, Female or Mixed*)
Roaring 40s (Your entire team must average 40 years or older Male or Mixed*)

Young Guns (Teams of 6 Male, Female or Mixed*)
(Between 14 years of age** and under 18 years of age as at 27 March 2010)

Brady Bunch (Teams of 6 Mixed* - Juniors and Oldies)
Up to 3 Junior riders (Minimum 2 Junior riders) with the balance made up of adult riders (Mum, Dad, friends, whatever)

Cruisers (Teams of 8 to 10 riders)

* Note: If you have a junior rider who is not quite 14 and is super keen to ride, we will try to accommodate you. Contact the race orgainser. ** Mixed teams must be 50% male and 50% female.

Singles Club. Single speeders (or fixies) are a hardcore breed of rider who love one gear only. Some can ride pretty damn fast too (much to the shame of many a geared rider). Just select the SS category in the entry form, noting that all riders must be ONE GEAR equipped.

Brady Bunch. Are your kids up to riding with the parents? Are Mum and Dad cool enough to be seen with you at transition? Who's going to post the quickest lap time? The contest is on. Now, if your name is Mike, Greg, Peter, Bobby, Carol, Marcia, Jan or Cindy then this could get pretty hilarious! Bring it on.

Cruiser Category. Corporate teams sounded a bit too 'corporate' for us so we've called this the Cruiser category. Teams of 8 to 10 riders can take things a little easier on course (as you'll be doing less laps). We've also got something interesting planned for your category to makes things a little different and more enjoyable.

Note: All categories must have at least five teams to constitute a full category.
