Schwalbe Tyres 24hour racing not only
punishes the rider, but the bike has to be up to it – Schwalbe tyres
are what you need if it is fast lap times you strive for! Schwalbe is
delighted to be part of The Mont 24 Hour Team and hope that the Mont will be
your time to shine, perhaps with a little help from Ralph, Nic, or even
Ron.
Schwalbe have always
strived to design and manufacture the best performance tyres in the
business. Their success is due in part to the amount of R&D they do
both in lab tests and through athlete feedback. In recent seasons Schwalbe
tyres have won some of the world's biggest races and stages across
disciplines as diverse as Mountain Biking to Triathlon and Stage Racing
to Cyclo-cross. Adrian Jackson winner of 2010 Ottway Odyssey rides with
Schwalbe tyres “Paired up with fast
but grippy Schwalbe combo of a 2.25” Racing Ralph out back and a 2.25”
Rocket Ron on the front the bike was perfectly setup for the
singletrack where I managed to make the race winning move.”

Schwalbe Racing Ralph Schwalbe's most beloved tyre. It satisfies the weight weenies, maintains low rolling resistance, and provides great grip. Racing Ralph uses Schwalbe's Triple Compound technology. Schwalbe recognizes that it's not possible for one compound to do it all, so they've combined three to optimize the tyre's performance wherever possible. The low-profile tread of the Racing Ralph is fast, but is an excellent cornering tyre thanks to its U-Blocks. A “U-Block” is a block of tread angled 20 degrees or so towards the outside of the tyre. A small sipe doesn't quite divide the block, creating the 'U'. The U-Block works to counteract the natural outward force the tyre is under when cornering, helping to control the forces and keep the bike stable. Racing Ralph is available in 2 sizes 2.10” & 2.25”, non UST or tubeless (UST) which means you can say goodbye to pinch flats. A tubeless system allows you to run less air pressure, again enhancing the grip of the tyre's tread. Better traction, less vibration, and no flats lead to a great ride.
New Nobby Nic 2010 - The Allgrounder Now in a class of its own. Because we improved, “by evolution”, our all around, beloved MTB, tyre test winner of many years. Here are the details: 1. Phase shifted blocks. A variation in the interblock space has resulted in profile cluster, which very positively affects grip. 2. U-Blocks. The center blocks are non-directional. The tyre is fitted to the rear wheel in the same direction as the front wheel. So the U-blocks can act optimally against the cornering forces on both wheels. 3. Cut resistance. The rubber tread compound migrates into the sidewalls. The shoulder area is thus better protected against cuts. 4. Durability. Larger blocks increase the lifespan. 5. Triple Nano-Compound. Naturally with our best rubber mixture for top performance grip and rolling resistance. Many detailed optimizations add up to a big difference: 15% less rolling resistance than the former Nobby Nic. 30 g weight saving. With its unbelievable power the new Nobby Nic is the true Allgrounder. Rocket Ron Unbelievably light yet nevertheless the most aggressive tread of our Cross tyres. 127 EPI Evo-Carcass, Triple Nano Compound, aggressive U-Blocks. For tough courses there is no better choice. This is a fast tyre, designed for speed.
